Eugene Dental Offices Adds Revolutionary Orthodontic TreatmentJuly 15, 2015
EUGENE, OR – Dr. Ben Thomas, a top cosmetic dentist, has introduced a new treatment that gradually corrects misaligned teeth without metal brackets or wires.
Invisalign uses clear aligners to gradually move teeth into position over the course of six to 18 months. Dr. Thomas, who owns Eugene Family Dental, began offering the service in July.
“This added service will allow patients to straighten their teeth in the comfort and familiarity of our office without having to be seen by another doctor,” said Dr. Thomas of Eugene Family Dental. “In addition, it can be accomplished safely and predictably.”
Invisalign can treat everything from mild crowding to advanced bite problems. Straight teeth not only improve the smile, but they also allow the gums to be cleaned effectively, improve chewing and often improve symptoms of joint problems like popping and clicking. The trays are easily removed for eating and cleaning, and the treatment is not invasive or painful like traditional metal braces.
Dr. Thomas said patients are excited about the prospect of having their teeth straightened without having to go to an orthodontist or spend two or more years in braces.
“I’m excited to provide this treatment to the patients of my practice,” Dr. Thomas said. “I have many patients who can benefit from having straight teeth, but they have declined to be seen by the orthodontist because they have to go to another office, and the thought of wearing traditional braces is unappealing.”
